RULES FOR THE 2ND SARAWAK INTER-COMMUNITY GOLF 2009:
YB DATO SRI WILLIAM MAWAN CHALLENGE TROPHY

1. Tournament Rules.
The Rules of golf as approved by R & A Rules Limited
and the Local Rules of KGS govern play.

2. Players Per Team.
Each team will be allowed to submit a maximum number of 10 players
for Gross Category and 20 players for Nett Category. Additionally,
each team can Nominate 5 guests players to play under
VIP/Invited Guests Category.

3. Team winners.
The Organising Committee has decided the followings:

i) The SICG 2009 will have Champion,
1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up
for both Gross and Nett Categories;
ii) Trophies will be given to second and third winner of respective

categories;
iii) Only 5 best players from the winning teams of the Gross Category
will receive their individual trophy; and
iv) Only the best 10 players from the winning team
of the Nett Category will receive their individual trophy.

4. Individual Winners.
There will be 5 winners and 10 winners for Gross and Nett categories,
respectively.

5. VIP and Invited Guests Category Rules.
System 36 Modified will be used for VIP and Invited Guests Category and prizes
will be given to the best 10 individual players.

6. Novelties.
Apart from Hole-in-One, the following novelties will be given to those attained:
- Nearest to the line;
- Nearest to the pin; and
- Bull-eyes.

7. Handicap.
The Organiser has decided that only players with valid handicap of 24
and Below (September 2009) are eligible to participate in the SICG 2009

Tournament.Team Captain can decide players to play either in Gross
(10 players) or Nett (20 Players) Categories.

8. Goodies.
Goodies will be given to all players after the game.

9. Registration of Players.
All participating teams MUST submit name of players before
or on 9 October 2009.

10. Venue.
About 240 players will participate in this tournament,
playing under VIP/Invited Guests, gross
and Nett Categories.

Both Gross and VIP/Invited Guests will play at Matang-Santubong
Courses, Where as the Nett Category will play
at Siol-Demak Courses.

Tee Off time will be at 7.45 am.

11. Lunch and Prize Presentation.
All players are cordially invited to Lunch Reception
and Prize Presentation at 1st Floor, KGS.
